These terms are an agreement between you and Eight Network Creations Private Limited ("we", "us"), the company that runs the simp app and website. By creating an account or using simp, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use simp.

• You must be 13 or older. If you tell us you are under 13, your account is locked.
• If you are under 18, use simp with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. Accounts for 13 to 17 year olds only see companions made for teens, never romantic ones.
• Give your real age band. It is set once, and some companions and settings depend on it.
• One account per person, on a phone number you control.

Every companion on simp, including ones you create, is an AI character. They are not real people, and they say so when sincerely asked. Their photos, voice notes and stories are made for the app and do not show real people.

AI can be wrong, inconsistent or surprising. Do not rely on a companion for facts or decisions that matter.

Astrology, tarot and coach companions are for entertainment and reflection. Nothing a companion says is medical, mental health, legal or financial advice.

If you are struggling, call Tele-MANAS, India's free mental health helpline, at 14416. In an emergency, call 112.

You sign in with your phone number. Keep your phone and sign-in codes to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at stream@eight.network if you think someone else has access to it.

Don't use simp to:

• harass, threaten, deceive or harm anyone, including yourself;
• create or seek sexual content involving minors, or any content that is illegal in India;
• create a companion that imitates a real person without their permission;
• break the law, or help someone else break it;
• get around limits, age checks, payments or safety features;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the app or its companions;
• sell, resell or share access to your account.

Your messages and the companions you create are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run simp for you, as described in the privacy policy. We only use your chats to improve companions if you turn on model improvement in settings.

You can report a message or a companion from the chat. Reports are reviewed by people, and we may remove content or companions that break these terms.

The app, its studio companions, characters, artwork, design and name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use simp for yourself, not for commercial purposes.

• The free plan has a daily message limit, shown in the app, that resets at midnight in your time zone. Where we offer it, you may choose to watch short ads to unlock extra messages.
• Premium is a monthly subscription billed through Google Play. The price is shown in the app and on Google Play before you buy.
• Premium renews each month until you cancel. Cancel in the Play Store under payments and subscriptions; you keep premium until the end of the month you paid for.
• If we offer a free trial, its terms are shown before it starts. Cancel before it ends and you will not be charged.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies.
• We may change limits, features and prices. We will tell you in advance before a change to a plan you pay for.

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts someone at risk, or where the law requires it.

You can delete your account at any time in settings. Your data is erased from our systems 7 days later; signing back in before then cancels the deletion. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, so cancel that in the Play Store too.

We work to keep simp running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or that companions will always respond as you expect.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of simp. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for simp in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using simp after that, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka. Before going to court, please write to our grievance officer (section 15) so we can try to resolve it.
